The Mystere of Falcon 20 and 200 family remains Dassault’s most successful business jet program thus far, with more than 500 built. Development of the original Mystere 20 traces back to a join collaboration between Sud Aviation (which later merged into Aerospatiale) and Dassault in the late 1950s. Prototype contruction began in January 1962, leading to a first flight on May 4th, 1963.
